PHYLLO TURKEY EGG ROLLS

- 1 pound lean ground turkey breast shopping list
- 4 cups coleslaw mix ( about 8-oz ) shopping list
- ¼ cup chopped gren onion shopping list
- 3 Tbs. reduced-sodium soy sauce shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- ½ Chinese five-spice powder shopping list
- ¼ tsp. ground ginger or 1 tsp. Grated fresh ginger-root shopping list
- 12 phyllo dough sheets ( 18-inches x 14-inches ) shopping list
- Refrigerated butter-flavored spray shopping list
- Sauces: Sweet-and-sour sauce and/or hot mustard shopping list
How to make it
- 1)Preheat oven at 350.
- 2)Crumble turkey into a large non-stick skillet. Cook oven medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Add the coleslaw mix, onions, soy sauce, garlic, five-spice powder and ginger. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes or until coleslaw is wilted. Remove from the heat.
- 3)Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a work surface with a long side facing you; spritz with butter spray and brush to evenly distribute. At with two more sheets of phyllo, spritzing and brushing each layer. ( Keep remaining phyllo dough covered with waxed paper to avoid drying out. )
- 4)Cut the stack width-wise into four 14-inches x 4 ½ -inch strips. Place ¼ cup of turkey mixture along one short side of each rectangle. Fold in long sides; starting at the filling edge., roll up tightly. Place seam side down on a un-greased baking sheets. Spritz top with butter spray. Repeat with remaining phyllo and filling.
- 5)Bake at 350 for 25 – 30 minutes, then broil 6-inches from the heat for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with sweet-and-sour sauce and/ or mustard if desired.
