How to make it

  • Cook carrots in water until almost tender.
  • Drain.
  • Add the orange juice, brown sugar and butter or margarine and cook and stir over medium heat to dissolve sugar.
  • Stir in the Bovril or beef bullion cube.
  • Salt and pepper to taste .Cook till tender .
  • Serves 6 to 8
  • Garnish with some fresh chopped parsley.
