Mutton Chop

- 20 mutton Chops or Ribs (800 gm) shopping list
- 6 tbsp oil shopping list
- 3 large onions shopping list
- 1 cup deep fried onion paste shopping list
- 1 large cup thick curd shopping list
- 5 tsp garlic paste shopping list
- 3 tsp ginger paste shopping list
- 1 1/2 tbsp Coriender/dhania powder shopping list
- 1 tsp chilly powder shopping list
- 30 gm cashew nut paste shopping list
- 15 clove shopping list
- 15 green cardamom shopping list
- 1/2 tsp javitri+ elaichi powder (Mace+ green cardamom) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder shopping list
- salt and water shopping list
How to make it
- Mix dhania and chilly powder in curd and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan put cardamam and cloves.
- Add chopped onions and fry till light brown.
- Add ginger and garlic paste, fry for two minutes.
- Add mutton and fry for 2 minutes on high flame.
- remove pan from the gas to cool a little, then add curd mix, fried onion paste and cashew naut paste, and fry for 3 minutes on reduced heat.
- Add 5 cups of water and salt, bring it to a boil, reduce heat and keep cooking stirring occasionally till meat is done.
- Gravy should be medium thick.
- Finely add garam masala and javitri-elaichi powder and cook for 5 minutes.
- garnish with chopped dhania
- Eat wit rice, rumali roti or tandoori roti
