How to make it

  • Mix dhania and chilly powder in curd and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan put cardamam and cloves.
  • Add chopped onions and fry till light brown.
  • Add ginger and garlic paste, fry for two minutes.
  • Add mutton and fry for 2 minutes on high flame.
  • remove pan from the gas to cool a little, then add curd mix, fried onion paste and cashew naut paste, and fry for 3 minutes on reduced heat.
  • Add 5 cups of water and salt, bring it to a boil, reduce heat and keep cooking stirring occasionally till meat is done.
  • Gravy should be medium thick.
  • Finely add garam masala and javitri-elaichi powder and cook for 5 minutes.
  • garnish with chopped dhania
  • Eat wit rice, rumali roti or tandoori roti
