Lamb Stew Casserole

- lamb - I used shoulder chops, stew meat, a shank and bones. shopping list
- vegetable stock shopping list
- 1 sweet onion chopped shopping list
- 3 carrots grated shopping list
- 1 cinnamon stick shopping list

- 1 can tomato puree shopping list
- 1 can diced tomatoes shopping list
- allspice shopping list
- cinnamon shopping list
- garlic powder shopping list
- black pepper shopping list
- kosher salt shopping list

- small pasta - gemelli, mezze penne. shopping list
- I wouldn't recommend orzo unless you're certain you won't have leftovers as they will disintegrate. shopping list

How to make it
- Boil lamb in stock with cinnamon stick for about 30 minutes.
- add tomato puree ad diced tomatoes and spices
- I used:
- 1/4 t allspice
- 1 t cinnamon
- just a touch of garlic powder
- 1t pepper
- 1t salt
- Cook on low for an hour, pull the meat from the bones when it releases easily.
- Just before serving add pasta - add additional stock if needed to cook pasta
