Marmite Bread and Butter Pudding

- 4 slices thick white bread (crusts left on or removed..it's up to you) shopping list
- 3/4 oz butter shopping list
- Marmite shopping list
- 1 1/2oz grated mature cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 egg yoke shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 150 ml milk shopping list
How to make it
- use a little butter to grease the baking dish
- butter the slices of bread
- place a layer of marmite on the buttered bread (to taste)
- cut each slice of bread into triangles and arrange half the triangles in the dish butter and marmite side up
- top with half the grated cheddar
- arrange the remaining slices on top this time with the butter and marmite side facing down
- mix the remaining cheese, egg yoke, egg and milk and pour the mixture over the bread
- cover and leave for 15mins
- preheat the oven to 190 degress C
- bake for 45-50 minutes until brown and set
