How to make it

  • In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, powdered buttermilk, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.
  • Pre-heat a griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or ladle out the batter onto the griddle, using about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
  • Cook until you start seeing bubbles on the raw side, flip and finish cooking on the other side. Should be nice golden brown in color.
  • Slather with butter and pour the syrup on and serve. You won't be disappointed.
