Marinated Purple Cabbage Salad

- Gallon-sized freezer-grade ziplock bag shopping list
- 12 oz purple cabbage, chopped shopping list
- kosher salt shopping list
- 2 t Gayelord Hauser's vegetable broth powder shopping list
- 2 T Ken's Northern Italian (or other Italian) dressing shopping list
- 1/2 c red wine vinegar shopping list
- 1 pkt sweetener (your preference) shopping list
- about 4 oz of yellow bell pepper, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Put chopped cabbage into steamer; sprinkle w/salt.
- Steam 3 min.
- While it's steaming, put remaining ingredients into bag.
- Once the 3 minutes are up, put cabbage into bag, zip closed, and toss until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Leave out, flattened on a countertop, overnight.
- Refrigerate at least 4 hours.
- Pour into serving bowl.
- Add chopped yellow bell peppers on top.
- Serve.
