How to make it
- First clean the chicken fillet , thoroughly , then marinade it with salt and black pepper .. Approx 2 hours. Then make 3 diagonal lines on the chicken using the knife . It is to ensure the chicken cooks easily since it is going to be coated with bread crumbs later on .
- Then ,In a bowl , beat the egg whites , just to loosen it's textures and for easy coating
- dip , the marinated chicken into the egg white , and coat it with the bread crumbs (preferably home made ones) and set it aside for a while .
- In a pan , put about 2 - 3 table spoon of butter and let it melt . Make sure the pan is medium heated .
- When it is hot enough , release the coated chicken into the pan and grill each side evenly . Make sure it is golden brown then only you flip it . TO check whether the chicken is cooked or not , poke the chicken with a knife.. if it is soft and tender , it means it is cooked..Serve it on a plate , with some coleslaw , and mashed potato ... maybe with cheese sauce ..would just work for me ...
- And if your planning to make pauper buttered chicken cutlet melt.. set the grilled chicken aside . then butter pan once again after wiping it , to clean the access chicken oil and earlier butter used. place the bread first then the cheese ,followed by any kind of vege you want..maybe lettuce .. mushrooms..grilled capsicum ..tomatoes.. just name it ..it's your melts..your choice...Then the grilled chicken cutlet
- then layer it once more with cheese and then butter the top of the bread , so it gets the nice and crispy texture on both sides . when the bottom part of the melts is browned.. just flip it and wait until the other side brown up .. and ur done...
