How to make it

  • Cook sweet potatoes in boiling water to cover in a large Dutch oven 35 minutes or until potatoes are tender; drain.
  • Cool potatoes slightly, and peel. Cut potatoes crosswise into 1/2 inch thick slices.
  • Cook brown sugar and next 3 ingredients in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is bubbly.
  • Add potato slices to skillet; cook, stirring mixture gently, until potatoes are glazed.
  • Serve immediately.
