Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat the milk over a low flame and wait for it to come to just under a boil.
  • Take a generous amount (4-6) squares of a large chocolate tablet of Lindt, for e.g. and add them to the milk.
  • Let the magic begin.....
  • You can actually turn off the flame if the chocolate was at room temperature or lower it if it is coming out of a fridge.
  • Whisk slowly at first and then vigorously. If your chocolate was sweetened you do not need to add any more sugar (or it will become unbearably sweet). If using unsweetened chocolate, add sugar to taste.
  • Add cocoa powder to taste. Dark will give more depth of flavour if used with milk chocolate and vice versa.
  • Serve immediately.
