Turkey-Tomato Pasta Sauce

- Ingredients: shopping list
- 1 Lb. turkey italian sausage links, casings removed shopping list
- ½ cup chopped green onions shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 2 tsp. olive or canola oil shopping list
- 2 cans ( 14-12 oz each )diced tomatoes, un-drained shopping list
- ½ cup white wine or chicken broth shopping list
- 1 cup loosely packed fresh basil, minced shopping list
- 1 tsp. Dried oregano shopping list
- Hot cooked spaghetti shopping list
- ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- In a large non-stick skillet, cook the sausage, onions and garlic in oil over medium heat sausage is no longer pink; drain. Add the tomatoes, wine or broth, basil and oregano; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, un-covered, for 10 minutes or until heated through. Serve over spaghetti; sprinkle with Parmesan. Yield: 8 servings.
