Three other Affogato recipes. The Chocolate Affogato has rum as one of the ingredients. Custard, Ice Cream, and then some - it's comfort foods for me.
Ingredients
- vanilla Affogato shopping list
- 1/3 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup boiling water shopping list
- 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder shopping list
- 1 pint vanilla gelato or ice cream shopping list
- chocolate Affogato shopping list
- 1 pint chocolate gelato or ice cream shopping list
- 8 tablespoons finely chopped semisweet chocolate shopping list
- 8 tablespoons hot freshly brewed espresso shopping list
- 8 tablespoons dark rum shopping list
- almond Affogato shopping list
- Use vanilla gelato or ice cream with hot espresso and Amaretto shopping list
How to make it
- Vanilla Affogato
- Place one scoop of gelato into 4 tall glasses or large coffee mugs.
- Pour 2 TB hot espresso over each.
- Top each with a dollop of whipped cream.
- Serve immediately.
- Chocolate Affogato
- Place one scoop of gelato in 4 tall glasses or large coffee mugs.
- Spoon 2 tablespoons each chocolate, espresso, and rum over each.
- Serve immediately.
- Almond Affogato
- Proceed following directions above.
