Macadamia Diamond Cookies

- 1/2 cup butter softened shopping list
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 egg separated shopping list
- 1 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon water shopping list
- 1 cup chopped salted macadamia nuts shopping list
- 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate melted and cooled shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix butter, sugars, vanilla and egg yolk in medium bowl then stir in flour and salt.
- Press dough in ungreased rectangular pan with floured hands.
- Beat egg white and water then brush over dough.
- Sprinkle with macadamias and press lightly into dough.
- Bake 25 minutes or until light brown then cool 10 minutes and cut into 3” squares.
- Cut each square diagonally in half then immediately remove from pan and cool.
- Drizzle with chocolate then allow to stand 2 hours to allow chocolate to set.
