How to make it

  • Prepare the Pitas with two slices of mozza spread on each pita, with 1/8 lb of the chicken spread on top
  • Slice 2 green chillies into thin strips
  • Place strips of green chillies on one half of the pita
  • In a bowl, mix hot sauce, karo, and vinegar until blended
  • Place sliced of onions in a small skillet on high heat.
  • Add sauce mixture and simmer until sauce boils and thickens
  • Remove pan from heat, pick out only onions and place on sandwich
  • Fold sandwich in half, place in a Panini Sandwich maker or in a large skillet turning once to warm the pita and melt cheese.
  • (The vinegar cuts the heat of the hot sauce while allowing you to enjoy the flavor. Mess with this recipe depending on you heat tolerance and taste-buds.)
