How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to gas 6/200oC
  • Place the sugar and butter in a bowl and cream together using an electric whisk
  • Add the flower and mix until a dough had been formed
  • Gather into a ball
  • Roll onto a sugared surface
  • Cut into shapes using a biscuit cutter
  • Place on a baking tray and prick each one lightly with a fork
  • Bake in the oven until golden brown (10-15 mins)
  • Cool on a wire rack until crisp
