Clasic Duck Confit

- 1 duck quartered shopping list
- 1.5lbs rendered duck fat (available at "The New York Butcher Shop" if you have one) shopping list
- 1 sprig rosemary shopping list
- 4 cloves fresh garlic shopping list
- 3 whole peeled shallots shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat Oven to 300
- Combine Duck,Garlic,Rosemary,and Shallots in a deep oven safe half pan. Cover ingredients with fat then cover pan with foil. Place in oven and roast for 3 hours or until duck falls from bone.
- *NOTE*
- DUCK FAT WILL BE UNBELIEVABLY HOT WHEN FIRST REMOVED FROM OVEN! LET COOL FOR FORTY FIVE MIN!
- *NOTE*
- You can reuse the fat for your next batch!
