Quick Pasta And Beans

- 2 tbs virgin olive oil shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1 can great northern beans shopping list
- 1 can/jar of your favorite shelf marinara tomato sauce. (I prefer Hunts) shopping list
- 1 tsp basil leaves or italian seasoning shopping list
- 1 tsp ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 box of ditalini pasta shopping list
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes. shopping list
- 1 loaf of fresh Italian or Sour Dough bread shopping list
- Your favorite glass of dry red wine shopping list
How to make it
- Lightly brown minced garlic in oil in med size sauce pan.
- Stir in can of Great Northern Beans undrained.
- Stir in tomato sauce.
- Add seasonings and simmer for 20 minutes on low.
- Boil Ditalini pasta to aldenta and strain. (8 minutes)
- Place pasta in bowl and ladle sauce over pasta. (Do not mix pasta and sauce together as the pasta will soak up all the sauce. Ladle sauce for each dish.)
- Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese and Red Peppers.
- Serve with Fresh Bread and Dry Red Wine.
- Delicious!!!
