How to make it

  • Cut racks of ribs in half and place in a large roasting pan
  • add vegetables, bay leaves, pepper, bouillon cubes, ketchup and water. Add water to just about cover ribs
  • Cover and cook at 400 degrees for approximately 2 hours or fork tender
  • Mix together bbq sauce ingredients and simmer uncovered low heat 15 minutes...let cool
  • place racks of ribs on a broiler pan
  • broil 3 minutes
  • brush a generous amount of bbq sauce on ribs and broil 3 minutes
  • repeat 3 times
