These are quick,easy CRUNCHY treats,got this from a Facebook friend!This is a great alternative to rice Crispy treats,like a cookie candy bar!
Ingredients
- 35 Premium saltine crackers shopping list
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 pkg. (8 squares) baker's semi-sweet chocolate/chopped shopping list
- 1 cup chopped walnuts/toasted shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven:400 degrees
- place crackers in single layer in a foil=lined 15X10X1 inch pan.
- Cook butter and sugar in a saucepan on medium-high heat until butter is melted and mixture is well-blended,stirring occassionally
- Bring to boil,cook 3 minutes,without stirring.
- Spread on crackers.
- BAKE 5-7 minutes,or until topping is golden brown.
- Immediately sprinkle with chocolate pieces;
- Let stand 5 minutes or until chocolate is softened.
- Spread chocolate over ingredients in pan;
- Sprinkle with nuts.
- Cool.
- Break into pieces.

My husband's Mom makes these using club crackers, they are so good. Do you think it would work with graham crackers or be too sweet?
