How to make it

  • FOR CAKE: Beat butter and sugar, med speed ~5min, till fluffly, beat in eggs one at a time.
  • Mix in sour cream, milk, food color, and vanilla.
  • Gradually beat in flour on low speed until blended (try not to overbeat)
  • Pour mixture into muffin cups ~2/3 full and bake 350d for 20-25min
  • FROSTING: Beat softened pkg of cream cheese, softened 1/2 stick of butter, 2tbsp sour cream, and 2tsp vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in 16oz of confectioner's sugar on med speed till smooth
  • Ice cupcakes after they've cooled ~5min out of pan. YUMMO
