How to make it

  • Preparing crust:
  • Spray cake pan with nonstick spray.
  • Melt the butter, add to the dry ingredients. Place the mixture in the bottom of cake pan, evenly, pressing down.. Pre bake crust for 10 minutes at 310 degrees. When done, let cool down to room temperature.
  • Preparing filling:
  • Put the cream cheese in a mixing bowl with sugar, beat until
  • soft. Scrape the side of the bowl a couple of times to make sure there are no lumps.
  • Add the eggs one at a time.Add the sour cream, lavender extract and the cream. Mix until smooth and no lumps.
  • Pour into the cake pan and bake , in a bain marie..
  • 250 degrees if using a convection oven.
  • 300 degrees if using a regular oven. For 1hour. When done , let cool down to room temperature and refrigerate over night.
  • Unmold the next day.
