How to make it

  • 1. Pour some distilled water into a ceramic pot and place it over low heat.
  • 2. Do not boil the water. Wait until the water starts steaming and you can see very small bubbles emitting from it.
  • Do not allow the water to boil. Turn off the heat the moment water starts steaming (before boiling).
  • 3. Now pour the steaming water over the tea, lemon , ginger and cinnamon in the tea cup or mug (whichever you use).
  • 4. Leave the tea to steep for about 2-3 minutes. Remember not to leave it for more than five minutes. It will make it bitter. Steeping in boiling water will also make it bitter.
