Badam Paneer Curry

- 200gms paneer(cottage cheese) cut into 1/4" square cubes shopping list
- 2onions shopping list
- 1/2"ginger piece shopping list
- 1tsp roasted cumin seed powder shopping list
- 1tbsp poppy seeds shopping list
- 1tbsp broken cashewnuts shopping list
- 1/2tsp chilli powder shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 1tsp garam masala shopping list
- 1cup coconut milk shopping list
- 2tbsp curd shopping list
- 3tbspcream shopping list
- 4tbsp clarified butter(ghee) shopping list
- 10 almonds shopping list
How to make it
- Grind onion and ginger to a paste
- Grind cashewnuts and poppyseeds together
- Blanch and split almonds
- Heat gheeFry almonds to a golden brown colour. Remove from ghee. Keep aside
- Add onions paste to ghee. Cook till golden brown in colour
- Add cashewnut paste.Cook for 1-2 minutes
- Add chilli powder and cumin powder
- Add curd and cook till ghee separets
- Add coconut milk and cream
- Remove from fire
- Add paneer
