Layered Summer Salad

- 4 c. baby spinach leaves shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar shopping list
- 2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms shopping list
- 1 small red onion, sliced, seperate into rings shopping list
- 2 tomatoes, chopped shopping list
- 10 oz. fresh or frozen green peas, cooked, drained, cooled shopping list
- 1/2 c. mayo(not miracle) shopping list
- 1/2 c. sour cream shopping list
- 1/4 c. chopped fresh basil shopping list
- optional: 5 slices crispy bacon, drained and crumbled shopping list
- a 3 qt. clear glass serving bowl shopping list
How to make it
- In layers:
- Spinach
- 1 c. of the cheese
- mushrooms
- onions
- tomatoes
- peas( should be on top)
- set aside
- mix together the mayo, sour cream, and basil
- spread over the peas, completely covering the top of salad
- cover and refrigerate at least 5 hours.
- garnish with remaining cheese and bacon(if used) just before serving
