Pork in Tomato Sauce Pork Sarciado

- 1 kilo pork ( sliced thinly) shopping list
- 1 whole garlic (crushed) shopping list
- 1 large onion ( sliced thinly ) shopping list
- 1 kilo tomatoes (deseeded and diced) or you can use Canned diced tomatoes. shopping list
- 1 Bay leaf shopping list
- 1 can green peas shopping list
- 1 kilo potatoes ( wedged ) shopping list
- ground black pepper shopping list
- salt shopping list
- cooking oil shopping list
How to make it
- Pan fry the pork slices until golden brown.
- Transfer the fried pork into thick-bottomed pan. Add the garlic, onion, tomatoes,bay leaf and 2 cups of water.Season with salt and pepper. Cook over low heat until the pork is tender. Approximately 30-40 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- While Simmering the pork, pan fry the potatoes until the edges starts to turn light brown.
- Drain on paper towel and set aside.
- When the Pork is already tender, add in the fried potatoes and green peas.
- Season with salt and pepper to suit your taste.
- Turn off heat and serve with rice.
