Easter Gingerbread Bunnies

- 1/3 cup margarine shopping list
- 1/3 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup golden syrup / molasses shopping list
- drop of vanilla shopping list
- half drop almond essence shopping list
- 3 1/2 cups plain flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp mixed spices (ground cloves etc) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ginger shopping list
- pinch salt shopping list
- 1/4cup water shopping list
- Choc drops to decorate. shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degees. Grease two baking trays or use silicon baking sheets.
- In a large bowl cream the margarine and butter.
- Add the molasses, vanilla and almond.
- Sift flour, salt and spices into a separate bowl.
- Add half the dry ingredients and half the water. Mix
- Add the other half dry ingredients and half the water.
- You should have nice dough. (I don't need to use flour to dust when rolling).
- Roll out onto a surface and cut into shapes. Best cookies are the thinnest ones.
- Bake for 8-12mins on a low shelf in a fan oven. (Low shelf helps cook evenly as fan blows over the top).
- Decorate while still hot (and the choc drops melt).
