I don't like sour cream. But my step-mother didn't tell me there was sour cream in it the first time I ate it, and I loved it! This is my favorite Jell-o dessert!

Ingredients
  • 1 3oz pkg orange Jell-o
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • ½ cup flaked coconut
  • 1 can mandarin oranges, well drained
  • 1 cup pecans or walnuts
  • ½ cup sour cream

Directions
  1. Pour 1 cup hot water on Jell-o. Stir until dissolved.
  2. Add sugar. Let cool slightly.
  3. Add coconut, pineapple and oranges. Stir.
  4. Add nuts.
  5. Fold sour cream into mixture.
  6. Pour into four cup mold and chill until congealed.
