Stir Fry Chicken Wings with Noodles

- 1kg {2lb} chicken wings with tips removed shopping list
- 1/3 cup cornflour shopping list
- 3 tbs oil shopping list
- 6 spring onions/shallots chopped shopping list
- 1 clove garlic crushed shopping list
- 1 stick celery cut into strips shopping list
- 1 small red capsicum,seeded and cut into strips shopping list
- 1 small,fresh red chilli,chopped.[or 1/4 tsp dried chilli flakes] shopping list
- 1 carrot cut into thin strips shopping list
- 3 tbs sherry or green ginger wine shopping list
- 250 gms [8oz] pkt egg noodles cooked. shopping list
How to make it
- Place cornflour in a freezer bag and add chicken wings.Shake bag to coat thoroughly.
- Heat oil in a Wok [lge] and cook chicken wings until golden on all sides and cooked through.Remove and keep warm.
- Add all the vegetables,including the chilli to the wok and cook for about 5 mins stirring constantly.Stir in sherry or green ginger wine and the cooked noodles.
- Serve on a warm platter with cooked chicken wings on the top.
- Egg Noodles.Cook in a large saucepan of boiling salted water for 5 to 6 minutes or until tender.When cooked put aside in a bowl of water,as this keeps the noodles separate.Drain just before frying.
