Schezuan Ma Po Tofu

- tofu 1 bricks shopping list
- minced beef 1/2 lbs shopping list
- Hot broad bean paste 2 tbs shopping list
- oil 3 tbs shopping list
- ginger 2 tbs fine chopped shopping list
- Thai chili 2 chopped shopping list
- chicken stock shopping list
- soy sauce 1/2 tbs shopping list
- Sui hing wine 1/2 tbs shopping list
- Fermented black bean 1/2 tbs shopping list
- sugar 1/2 tbs shopping list
- corn Starch dissolved in cold water shopping list
- green onion 1 chopped shopping list
- sesame oil shopping list
- grounded Sichuan peppercorn shopping list
How to make it
- 1 Cut tofu into small cubes, blanche quickly and drain.
- 2 Mix minced beef with hot broad bean paste, thai chili and ginger
- 3 Heat oil in wok. Brown the minced beef, add stock and tofu, flod gently
- ... make sure there's enough stock to cover everything.
- 4. Add soy sauce, sui hing wine, sugar and fermented black bean. low heat
- till stock reduces.
- 5. Add corn starch to thicken sauce
- 6. To finish drizzle sesmae oil and sprinkle green onion and grounded
- Sichuan peppercorn on top to garnish
- 7. Ready to serve!!!
