Pineapple Sweetened Coffee

- For every fluid (not dried) ounce of roasted coffee, you will need 1/2 thoroughly dried, unsugared pineapple round. shopping list
- Cut or tear pineapple round into smallish fragments and combine them with roasted coffee beans. Place in grinder and then prepare coffee as usual. shopping list
- With this coffee mix, use half as much of pineapple coffee mix as you would UNENHANCED coffee. shopping list
How to make it
- Variations: For EVERY FLUID ounce that dry coffee beans will render choose from the following flavor combinations. Break into 1/4-inch pieces. Add to the roasted beans. Grind. Prepare coffee as usual , but only use half the quanity you would of unenhanced coffee.
- Cinnamon-Nutmeg:
- 3/4 inch cinnamon stick
- 1/12 nut (approximately) nutmeg
- 1/2-inch vanilla bean
- Cinnamon-Vanilla:
- 1-inch cinnamon stick vanilla bean
- Mint Coffee:
- 3/4 teaspoon dried spearmint or 1/2 tsp dried peppermint, or 1/2 tsp of spearmint and peppermint combined.
- Lemon Mint Coffee:
- 1/2 tsp lemongrass
- 1/4 strip dried zest
- 1/2 tsp dried spearmint
- Ginger-Orange:
- 1/2 strip dried orange zest
- 1/8 to 1/4 tsp chopped dried gingerroot
- Orange-Coriander:
- 1/2 strip dried orange zest
- 1/4 tsp coriander seeds
- Cinnamon Orange Vanilla:
- 1/2 strip dried orange zest
- 1/2-inch stick cinnamon
- 1/4-inch fresh vanilla bean
