This is a quick, tasty dish, perfect served with mash.
Ingredients
- 6 pork sausages shopping list
- 6 Russians ( a spicy sausage - not sure if it's South African only) shopping list
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil shopping list
- 4 Rashers bacon Coarsely chopped shopping list
- 1 onion Chopped shopping list
- 4 tomatoes Peeled & Coarsely chopped shopping list
- 50ml Chopped parsley shopping list
- Tin butter beans shopping list
How to make it
- Make incisions on sausages
- Brown sausages in heated oil
- Remove from pan and keep warm
- Pour off excess oilin pan, add bacon & fry until crisp
- Add onion & saute
- Add tomatoes & parsley & simmer until thick
- Drain beans, add to tomato sauce & simmer for 5 mins
- Serve sauce with sausages and mash
