Gluten Free Granola

- 3 cups GF oatmeal,quick cooking or rolled shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts,walnuts pecans,or almonds etc shopping list
- 1/2 cup crushed corn or rice chex cereal shopping list
- 1/3 cup honey ( I use half honey,half pure maple syrup ) shopping list
- 1/2 cup sunflower or pumpkin seeds (pepitas) shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated coconut shopping list
- 1/3 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 Tbls. warm water shopping list
- 1/2 Tsp.salt shopping list
- 1 Tsp Vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees.Lightly grease a large baking sheet.
- In a large bowl,combine all dry ingredients.
- In a seperate bowl,combine honey,brown sugar,oil,water,salt and vanilla.Stir well.
- Pour over oat mixture,and stir.
- Spread out on cookie sheet.
- Bake one hour,stirring every 15 minutes.Remove from oven,cool before serving.Store in an airtight container.
- You could add almond extract instead of vanilla,or add a tsp. of cinnamon.Once granola is out of oven you can also add dried fruits of your choice.
