Deluxe Decadent Cornbread

A friend gave me this recipe as i LOVE corn and cornbread! the 1st time that i made it i didnt think it would work with out an egg ...but YUM!the butter on the top intensifies the corn smell and flavor..
Ingredients
- 1 bag frozen kernel corn shopping list
- 1 tube frozen cream corn shopping list
- 1 box jiffy cornbread mix shopping list
- 1 box cream cheese shopping list
- 1 stick real butter(this is essential) shopping list
- extra butter to brush on top shopping list
How to make it
- pre heat oven to 350 degrees. in a large mixing bowl ,soften the butter and cream cheese to room temp. and mix together. stir in the jiffy dry mix...do not make the mix by directions!! let corn thaw some then add them to the mix.dump into greased pan and bake until middle firm(or cornbread done usually 25-30 min) Brush top with butter to intensify corn taste.
