Hoisin Glazed Chicken Thighs

The Chinese know a few things about sweet glazed meat and poultry. That was the inspiration for the five spice rub and glossy glaze.
Ingredients
- 2 Tbs five spice powder shopping list
- 2 Tbs Hungarian paprika shopping list
- 2 Tbs coarse salt shopping list
- 1 Tbs minced garlic shopping list
- 2 ts[p pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp dry mustard shopping list
- 16 bone-in,skin-on chicken thighs shopping list
- Glaze: shopping list
- 1 c hoisin sauce shopping list
- 1/4 c soy sauce shopping list
- 2 Tbsa honey shopping list
- 2 Tbs dark sesame oil shopping list
- 2 Tbs minced fresh ginger shopping list
- 2 tsp minced garlic shopping list
- 1 tsp five spice powder shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all rub ingredients except chicken in small bowl;rub all over both sides of chicken.
- Heat grill. combine all glaze ingredients in small bowl. Grill chicken,covered,over med. heat 4-6 mins or till lightly browned,turning once.
- Reduce heat to low. Grill,covered,an additional 15 to 20 mins or till no longer pink in center,turning and brushing with glaze every 5 mins.
