How to make it

  • Wash and peel apple
  • Slice apple into 1/4" thick sliced rings and remove seeds
  • Place apple slices in small sauce pan and sprinkle with the gelatin and diet cola
  • Heat apple slices until liquid just starts to boil stirring gently so you don't tear up the slices. Make sure gelatin has dissolved
  • Let apple rings stand in liquid until just warm
  • Arrange on dessert plate and top with a dollop of Cool Whip or if your diet can allow, a dollop of whipped cream
  • NOTES:
  • You can easilyl make more than one serving at a time. If you are using more than one apple, just multiply the ingredients that many times.
