How to make it
- Add whipping cream to jar with lid. Cut vanilla pods and scrap out insides...add both to jar with cream. Shake well. Place in fridge for at least one hour.
- Strain cream to remove beans and pods in to bowl. Beat on low until "foamy" 1-2 minutes. Add sugar (amount depends on how sweet you like your whipped cream. I normally only use 1/4 cup). Beat at medium speed until peaks.
- Store in fridge. Will only keep nicely for about 2 days.
- Makes approx 3 cups.
