How to make it

  • -----The day before-----
  • Wet the kitchen towel to make it humid.
  • Place it in a colander over a bowl.
  • Pour the yoghurt in and leave it for the night.
  • The next day get the yoghurt out of the towel en put it in a bowl. Get rid of the juice that came out.
  • Now stir in the vanilla seeds and add some sugar to taste. The strawberries will be sweet too, so don't make the Hangop to sweet!
  • -----The strawberries----
  • Clean the strawberries and put in a bowl
  • Add the sugar, balsamic vinager, the chopped basil and a good pinch of fresh grounded black pepper. Leave for 2 hours.
  • Make a nice canelle of the Hangop and place the strawberries around it. Garnish with basil leaves, if you have some left.
  • Enjoy!
