Clam Chowder

- 2 (6.5 oz) cans of minced clams shopping list
- 1 c. of chopped onion shopping list
- 2 peeled and chopped potatoes shopping list
- 1/2 c. of finely chopped carrots shopping list
- 1 (16 oz) can of diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. of water shopping list
- 1 tsp of salt shopping list
- ground black pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. of dried thyme shopping list
How to make it
- First claim your clams and reserve the liquid.
- Next add in water to reserved liquid making up 3 full cups of stock.
- Now take a pan and add clam juice, and water mix, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, carrots, salt, pepper, and the thyme.
- You want to let this be covered and sit for about 30-35 min.
- Next you want to take pan off heat.
- Then you can mash the veggies so they thinken up the stock.
- Finally, add in the clams and stir.
- Let this heat and serve.
