How to make it

  • First, set your rice to cook. Any white rice works but Jasmine rice is the best. I don't recommend adding salt to this rice. If you MUST only use a TINY bit.
  • Get yourself some thinly sliced pork chops. Cut off the little strip of fat. Slice the chops into strips. Soak them in the marinade
  • Chop your veggies while the meat is marinading to give it time to absorb the flavour. Slice your green peppers into strips then cut the strips in half. Cut your onion in half and then slice it. Chop your broccoliiiiiiii....yeah chop your broccoliii-iiii....go chop your brocco...liiiiiiiiiiii...enough of that for you Dana Carvey fans ;). Mince 2 cloves of garlic.
  • Heat up about 1/4 cup of oil in a wok (if you have one) or a frying pan. Toss in the minced garlic. Quickly drain the marinade out of the meat before the garlic starts burning. You could drain the meat before tossing in the garlic...anyway...toss in the meat and stir. When the meat is about halfway cooked. Toss in the onions. Stir it all in. When the meat is fully cooked, pour in half a bottle of store bought stir fry sauce. Toss in the rest of the veggies, stir it around and bring it to a boil. Turn off the flame, then shred a half a large carrot or a whole medium carrot and stir. Let it settle for about 2 minutes.
