Quick Pear Tart

- 1/4 c raw sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1 sheet puff pastry,thawed shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter,melted shopping list
- 2 (15 1/4 oz) cans pear halves,keeping stem end attached,cut in 1/4" slices shopping list
- 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400'
- In a small bowl,mix sugar and cinnamon together. Lay puff pastry sheet on a work surface ,brush with melted butter and sprinkle with half cinnamon sugar.
- Cut into 6 even pieces.
- Fan pear slices over puff pastry,using 1/2 pear for each square. Sprinkle tops of pear tarts with with remaining cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake till pastry is golden and cooked through,about 20 to 25 mins.
- Remove tarts from oven,sprinkle with cheese and bake till cheese melts,5 mins more. Great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- Note: Divide 3 oz soft cream cheese mixed with sugar and vanilla uner each pear before baking. Yummy!
