How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400'
  • In a small bowl,mix sugar and cinnamon together. Lay puff pastry sheet on a work surface ,brush with melted butter and sprinkle with half cinnamon sugar.
  • Cut into 6 even pieces.
  • Fan pear slices over puff pastry,using 1/2 pear for each square. Sprinkle tops of pear tarts with with remaining cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake till pastry is golden and cooked through,about 20 to 25 mins.
  • Remove tarts from oven,sprinkle with cheese and bake till cheese melts,5 mins more. Great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • Note: Divide 3 oz soft cream cheese mixed with sugar and vanilla uner each pear before baking. Yummy!
