How to make it

  • Simple Syrup:
  • Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Let cool.
  • Pour the tequila into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook until reduced by half (most of the alcohol will boil off). Pour into a bowl and add all of the remaining ingredients. Refrigerate until cold.
  • Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and process according to the manufacturer's instructions. Store in the freezer.
