Caramel Pecan Pie

- 36 caramels, unwrapped shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup milk shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 cup pecan halves shopping list
- 9-inch pie crust shopping list
How to make it
- Combine the caramels, butter and milk in a heavy saucepan.
- Heat until melted and creamy.
- Stir often
- Remove from the heat.
- Set aside.
- Blend the sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt together.
- Gradually mix in the caramel mixture.
- Fold in the pecans.
- Spread in the pie crust.
- Bake at 350 F for 45 to 50 minutes.
- Cool until firm.
