How to make it

  • Place tea in a small, heatproof bowl; cover with boiling water. Steep for 2 -3 minutes. Strain tea through a fine sieve into a medium saucepan.
  • Add the sugar and plums. Bring the mixture to the boiling point; reduce heat to low. Simmer until plums are tender, 10 minutes.
  • Strain the liquid into a medium bowl; reserve. Put the plum pulp into a food processor. Process until smooth. Add pulp to reserved liquid. Stir in salt, cinnamon, and plum wine. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight. Serve with skewered fresh fruit.
