Beer Battered Shrimp

- Canola or vegetable oil shopping list
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup beer shopping list
- 1 large egg white shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 3/4 cup dry bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 pound large shrimp, cleaned peeled and deveined shopping list
- Preheat oil in a deep fryer to 350 degrees F. shopping list
- Sometime list, made them this way, sometime i add 2 teaspoon cajun seasoning, other time i add same amount of Ol Bay or one time i tried cumin powder shopping list
- all for a different taste when you cook them often as i do shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, beer, egg white and salt; beat until smooth. In another bowl, stir together dry bread crumbs, pecans, pepper, and salt. Dip shrimp into the beer batter, then dredge a through the bread crumb mixture. Fry for 3 to 5 minutes, until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
