Caribbean Habanero Cornbread

- * 1 c yellow cornmeal shopping list
- * 1 c Flour; all-purpose shopping list
- * 1 tb sugar shopping list
- * 2 1/2 ts baking powder shopping list
- * 1/2 ts salt shopping list
- * 1/4 c salad oil shopping list
- * 1 lg egg shopping list
- * 1 cn Creamed corn; (8 1/2 oz) shopping list
- * 1/2 c plain low-fat yogurt shopping list
- * 1/2 c Monterey jack cheese; shopping list
- * 2 tb habanero chiles; minced shopping list
- * 2 tb Anaheim chili pepper; minced shopping list
How to make it
- 1. In a large bowl, stir to combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. 2. Add oil, egg, corn, yogurt, cheese, habaneros, and Anaheims. Stir until ingredients are evenly moistened. 3. Pour batter into an oiled 8-inch square pan. Bake in a 375 F. oven until bread is a golden brown and begins to pull from pan sides, 30-35 minutes. Recipe by: Sunset Mag.
