How to make it

  • heat a skillet on medium heat.
  • in a bowl, soften butter and mix in parmesan, salt and pepper.
  • spread butter/parm mixture on one side of bread slice and place in skillet, butter side down and cook until crispy. set aside to cool when done.
  • while waiting for bread to cook and cool, slice up the avocado, tomato and red onion.
  • when bread cools spread mayo and mustard on un-buttered side of bread and top with the sliced veggies and some alfalfa sprouts.
  • can be topped with another slice of bread or left open-faced....delish both ways! great with a dab of ranch too!
