Zucchini Perini

- 1/2 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 lb hot italian sausage shopping list
- 1 large onion, diced shopping list
- 1 dash salt shopping list
- 1 dash ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 (28 ounce) cans whole tomatoes, mashed and drained shopping list
- 6 ounces tomato paste shopping list
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce shopping list
- 2 teaspoons oregano shopping list
- 1 dash garlic powder shopping list
- 2 lbs zucchini, sliced 1/4 thick shopping list
- 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Preheat oven to 350º.
- 2. In an oven-safe pan, brown the ground beef, sausage and onion. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- 3. Add the whole tomatoes, tomato paste and tomato sauce. Add the oregano and garlic powder and simmer for 5 minutes.
- 4. Add the zucchini, mix thoroughly then sprinkle with Parmesan.
- 5. Bake at 350º until cheese melts and starts to brown, about 10 minutes.
