How to make it

  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the rice and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
  • Stir in the chicken stock, tomatoes, hot sauce and turmeric, and heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Stir in the sausage, shrimp and ham. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  • Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
