Depos Cola Roast

This roast comes out so tender it's hard to get out of the pan.Always serve mashed potatoes with this as the gravy it makes needs to be slathered on them.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 3-3 1/2 lb. chuck roast shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup Coca cola (not diet) shopping list
- 12 oz. chili sauce shopping list
- 2 Tbs. worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp. hot sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325º
- Season roast with salt,pepper and garlic powder
- Heat oil in a roasting pan.
- Sear roast on all sides
- Mix the Coca Cola,chili sauce,Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce
- Pour mix over the roast
- Cover and roast for 1 hour
- Turn heat down to 300º
- Roast for another 1 1/2 hours
