How to make it

  • Cream butter, sugar and lemon zest together for 5 minutes.
  • Add eggs one at a time (mixing between each egg).
  • Mix in salt. Add flour 1 cup at a time mixing in each cup.
  • Fold in 7 UP last. Pour into well-greased Bundt pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
  • If you desire ICING:
  • 1/4 c. butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • Juice from the two lemons
  • Mix well.
  • Add more sugar or milk if needed.
  • Pour over cooled cake.
